PIP & VAK Analysis

A self-discovery tool to help you understand the human needs that drive you, and the way your mind takes in the world — so you can move toward your True North.

NLP-Based Self-Assessment
How it works

Two lenses. One clearer you.

PIP (Personal Identity Profile — what drives you underneath) looks at the six human needs that silently drive every decision you make — Certainty, Uncertainty, Significance, Love & Connection, Growth, and Contribution. When you know your top needs, you understand why you do what you do.

VAK — your sensory style reveals how you most naturally take in the world: by seeing (Visual), by hearing (Auditory), by doing and feeling (Kinesthetic — learning through touch, movement, and gut sense), or by thinking it through in words (the Self-Talk style). It's simply the way your mind prefers to learn, decide, and connect.

Answer honestly — from who you are, not who you want to be. There are no right or wrong answers. Only clarity.

Part 1 of 2

1PIP — Six Human Needs

Below are 84 statements. For each, move the slider to rate how true the statement is for you on a scale of 0 to 10.

0 = not true for me at all  ·  5 = somewhat true  ·  10 = completely true for me
Part 2 of 2

2VAK — How You Take In the World

Part 1 asked why you do what you do. This one asks how your mind takes information in. Both results come together at the end.

For each question, you'll see four possible responses. Rate each response on a scale of 1 to 4 based on how true it is for you.

4I am like this only 3Sometimes I am like this 2Mostly I am not like that 1I am not at all like that

A little about me

Hi, I'm Anu.

Most of the people I work with are doing well by any outside measure. They have built something, they lead people, the results are there. What brings them to me is quieter than that — they know exactly what needs to change, and they keep not doing it.

That is rarely discipline. It is usually this: the identity that got you to this level was built to handle an earlier one. It worked — that is exactly why it is still running. It is also why delegating feels like risk, why a decision you have already made can sit unmade for months, and why the same conversation keeps getting postponed.

I am a counselling psychologist and NLP master coach, and I wrote A Life That Breathes. My work is finding the loop that is quietly running your decisions — and closing it. This assessment is the first look at yours.

Your PIP & VAK profile has shown you what drives you and how your mind takes things in. Why that driver keeps running you instead of the other way round is what this short training explains.
